We hire people who can work without being managed.
Mostly engineers, but not only. A studio this size needs people who can
sell, write, run an account or bring in work, and the same conditions
apply to all of it: no manager, real ownership, and you explain your
reasoning rather than your activity.
For engineering specifically, we hire senior people rather than a
language. If you are genuinely senior you are up for any task and the
stack is a detail you pick up. We use Rails because it is the best of
what we have touched, not because we are attached to it.
Engagements are staffed as they are won, so hiring is periodic rather
than constant. We would rather hear from you before there is an opening
than advertise one and start from nothing.
What we look for
- Senior at what you do, and still trying to get better at it
- People who can decide what to do next without being told
- Able to explain why, not just what
- Engineers who write tests without being asked
- English good enough for written work with clients

- Send something you made. A repository, a live product, a campaign that worked, a piece of writing. Not a CV template.
- We read it properly. One of us, not a filter. You get a real reply either way.
- A conversation. About the thing you sent and what you want to work on. No whiteboard algorithms, no competency framework.
- A paid trial. Small, real, on actual work. Paid whether or not it goes further.
